801 and counting...

Here it is-my blog's 801st post.
This kitty's eyes are wide and curious for what I may say.
Me too.

Today I used up a vacation day and went out to work anyway. It was our Secret Santa day which was planned after I chose this day to be off. It was fun we laughed alot. And I was glad I went for that 90 mins or so. My Secret Santa gave me a gift card good at 4 eateries I frequent-so good!

After that headed off to my real lunch with another chum. We munched bar-b-q. While we wiped the bar-b-q sauce off our mouths, my chum says it seems how I always have a day off. He asks, "Do you have a day off for every other half day you work?'" Witty my chum thought he was.

I replied how I would poke his eye out with my fork.

That's what friends are for, right?

Profound indeed for 801st!

Sunday Later....

Yes, I'm been a bit on the tardy side on my blog. I do apologize. I went thru one of my thoughts of changing the focus --again--on the blog. Just stay on ONE thing to chat about. I'm still out to lunch on that. I might gain more interest if my blog is just one subject--like heart issues, relationship stuff, cats--ice cream--who knows. We'll see.

Nonetheless. Cowboys WON today over arch nemesis the New York Football Giants. This was the 1st game after the coach change during the week. Felt so good to taste some victory with the buffalo wings. Sports radio will be of the positive this week--and after the Cowboys going 1-7, it's ALL GOOD.

Just like this week is going be...ENJOY!

Do you Twitter? I tried. I don't care for it much. Granted, by the time I signed for the first time, I had two blogs and realized I had a strong pulse on Facebook. A chum of mine is addicted to Twitter, as I am to Facebook and my blogs. If you're familiar with Twitter, folks follow you and you follows folks. My chum has over 800 worldwide folks following her.

Me? 38.

My chum loves to read Tweets and respond in kind. Me? I got bored. I didn't want to read everybody's Tweets in 140 characters or less, when meant I maybe read lots to get the point. Yea, it's fun to try to edit t0 140 characters, yet I grew weary. Then I started school--something had to give.

So Twitter Twunked out. I go there ever know and then-like every couple weeks or so. I follow William Shatner, Donny Osmond, Aaron McCargo and even Dame Elizabeth Taylor and Terrell Owens. I rarly read past the first page of Tweets. My chums knows all bout Twitter, I don't.

And I'm OK with that. She suggests I follow the Tweets of authors I like, well I do that on Facebook--even intermingle with some. I could read tweets about writing hints---well, why would I do that if I just read stuff about writing and NOT write?

Oh well. Maybe one moment I'll get on the Twitter Twagon.

This isn't that moment. Right now, I'm twired and this cat awaits.
Stay tuned.

Monday Muse

Once again, I question on taking an undetermined hiatus from this blog.

And I enjoy doing the blog.

However, my hits aren't as they were. Not giving what readers, I do have, what they want to read.

As much as grew up, followed the Osmonds, yet still rocked in the 70's, partied like it was 1999 in the 80's, thought I was a true adult in the '90, however I realized I'd not completed as much as I thought I woulda done by now in the 2000's--so what to do?

Write about just my survival of open-heart surgery or being born with microtia (born without an ear--in my case, I do not have a left ear) or being half a century with no husband or kids (which I miss not having) or the desire to produce a play from my own words, dance, sing, and play piano or the loss of my mom when I was 13 and being an only child at that?

Hmm. I've done that-only not every day.
Maybe I should? But which one? I'm open for suggestions.
However, since I've biked and treadmilled, must take trash to the curb, contemplate washing the dishes, pet a cat, chow a salad so my coumadin stays in check, watch "The Closer" and get on my knees and thank God for this life.

Stay tuned.
I am blessed.
