Histogram.
Yea. Don't worry
I didn't know what it was either!
I had to make a histogram for a school assignment tonight-
Basically it's a bar graph with a specific way to input data
And I think I made one.
I just picked the closest looking template on my PC
Then copy and pasted my data
Then I realized I really didn't know how to read it
The graph had pretty colors tho--
Since I'm tired and heading to bed--I really didn't much care.
I just hope I did it right.
The teacher may be glad I handed something in--
On Time.
A histogram.
The good thing is
The class, plus this particular school
Have quite a good chance to be
Part of my history
A week from tomorrow.
Stay tuned.

Tired
First, about the college exam I discussed last night--well, I never heard back from the teacher. And today I started a brand new class--so whatever happens is gonna happen. If I had read ALL the material, as I should have, there wouldn't have such a great need for me to do 'open book' then I wouldn't have opened another browser and accidently logged out the browser where I took the test. One chance for the test--that was it. .Oh well.
In this new class, I have a 1000 word paper due by Sunday. We must attach the article we used to gain most of our info, plus run the paper thru the plagiarism checker and paint the sky blue by daybreak. Well, not the last part--but still. 1000 words by Sunday over--let's see--exploring the purpose of human services and include how Ginger on Gilligan's Islands only seemed to have evening gowns--well, maybe not that last part but still--doing this non-fiction writing has made more determined to write FUN fiction writing, because--well, because I CAN!
I am beat. Reading the new class' syllabus overwhelmed me. Yet, I will succeed. In the meantime, I'm gonna plop on the couch, take the remote away from this cat, and savor the night which a bowl of Blue Bell Rocky Road Ice Cream...

Monday Moan
....and no, Denzel Washington didn't knock on my door... ..
DRAT!
More like I put together our group paper for my college class. I admit I tried to get out of it, because I'd already done it before, plus this other team exercise we had to do. We all wrote our seperate parts and then it had to be put together in APA format--yep, that's I think to--APA, huh? The person who said she would do it, had a death in the family and the other teammate said she works until 4:30am, and besides she'd already done ONE. Whatever.
Then we had an online exam to take. 3 hours to take and it would time us, plus only one shot at it. So since I'm such a good student, I'd not read that much material. So open up another browser and do open book exam. Yep, my kinda exam...
Ya know where I'm going with this? Come question 9, as I looked up cross cultures in the workplace and its impact--I accidentally X'd me out of the exam
Done. Fini. OUT. I looked a big 0% for my score. There were 39 questions. I answered 9. I did leave a message for the instructor. It's 9:01pm as I type this. This class is officially over at 12:59AM. I start a new class tomorrow. The exam was worth 15 points. If I calculate it right, I could get a high C. Not what I wanted--but it taught me, I gotta really at least SKIM the material...
Oh and a cat barfed on the floor.
Moan, is right.
I'm on my way to watch my DVR of 'Dancing With the Stars' with a dab of Blue Bell Ice cream...
Ain't all bad.

Triple Tired
Yep. I'm triple tired. Why? For one, last night I didn't finish a school paper. Why? I helped celebrate the 50th birthday of Pastor Rickie Rush, of Inspiring Body of Church, at well, the Inspiring Body of Christ Church! I tell ya, never once did I think I'd hear the 80's classic, "Celebrate" by Kool and The Gang or the Sugar Hill Gang's "Rapper's Delight" in church-and everybody was on their feet! Naw- that was gonna never happen--until last night, with a few hundred other folks in tow! And Bear was there-shared a few words with him. Yea, my mind wandered after we spoke, but reality hit. I had to leave the sanctuary to get my cupcake-everybody got one as we left the church, and scoot on home. So, I'm tired because I didn't get home until per near 11Pm.
And my paper was almost done, but I couldn't stay up to finish it. So I e-mailed the instructor and told her it would be late. It's the only time, I plan to be late with an assignment. Restless, as I tried to fall asleep. A cat snoozing on your tummy doesn't help THAT much.
Tired when I got up this morning. Long, but fun day in training class--even tho one of my co-workers doesn't like me. Oh well, not sure what I did to her--considering I don't even know her name.
Then I'm tired because none, except for Crystal, of the girls really "wow" me on American Idol. Eventho they purt near all wore me out enough, I was too tired to get some Blue Bell Ice Cream for woes.
Yep. Tired.

Gotta Be Finally Friday
And it is! A week of change, especially today. See, today was my last day in my current position at the company I toll for. A month ago, two hundred of us found out we were losing our jobs, due to them being moved to Tennessee. In the the next breath, our management announced we still had jobs, just in a different area. Only we didn't have a say on which one of the two job openings, we were gonna get. Kinda like a box of chocolates, except the piece was already decided for us.
In my case, I got the job I wanted. In fact, I'd applied at another company, for the same position. Unfortunately, I had one piece of the puzzle, but not all of it. Now, I'll get trained in all pieces. Might be a slight raise involved--MIGHT--since they are was on different pay scale than us. So this new adventure starts Monday and I am excited! It's a good change--a very, GOOD change.
Which couples with my first week as being a student at University of Phoenix. I'll be in debt until I'm 175. S'ok. My area of study is all online. My advisors mean well, yet they call all the time--to make sure everything is OK. I'm in the midst of to get my routine down. Not as bad as I thought--so far. And I've already asked how long do I have to be there to be one one of those "I Am A Phoenix" commercials. Stay tuned.
And then my junior high art teacher found me on Facebook. Art Teacher remembered how uncomfortable I was, in class, and apologized. I liked her, I said, but it was the class I dreaded. I couldn't draw, paint or do a straight line with a ruler-plus I got a C for the class. I fretted for the longest to show my parents my report card because of it. The "C" didn't look that good among the all "A"s and one "Be"....at least I thought. Nobody would EVER confuse me with Picasso! Art Teacher got a kick out of it.
In all that, change has happened. All good I feel. So because it's Friday, I gotta cue up a song by Change, from the early 80's: Lover's Holiday, with back up singer the late great Luther Vandross! Good stuff never does die...Happy Friday!
