It's Friday and I am SO glad. Will be another scorcher in Dallas tomorrow--over 100 degrees. I do have some errands to do and those will be done in the morning time. My splurge after errands will be "Toy Story." And this paper I gotta tweak--like I said, "Toy Story."
Honestly, I hadn't planned to see "Toy Story." Just didn't think I'd like it. Maybe run out of steam, since it is the third one. Yet its reviews have been great--so why not? Plus, I always love me some Tom Hanks. See, Tom's a guy I would date. I'd make him a pie everyday if he wanted one. Even a pie I didn't like--yep. for Tom. :)
Did I tell you I went back to the rec center? I'm pretty much the youngest one there. You must be a 'golden age' to even join. I'm taking it easy and get my body to work again. I can feel a difference when I walk. Tonight, heck--I forwent the pizza I craved--even the ice cream, and chowed salad and an orange. Maybe I'm back into something good to infinity and beyond.....?
Yep.

Monday Monday...
The actual temperature is 105.
Got 90 pounds of cat litter in the car. There's the 30lb bag Movie Man put there Saturday. The other 60? Well, I purchased three 20lb bags for 86 cents each. A name brand too. No joke. The grocery store I ventured to is in the midst of remodeling, hence had a sale. These bags of litter had been trampled on, but heck--the stuff inside of the bags was still good. It's gonna be real hot cat litter, 'cause I ain't gonna be dragging it all in just this second.
Brad, Angie and the brood in People magazine. All for a scant 14 mil. At least it's charity's gain.
Who has read the Stephenie Meyer Twilight Books? I never heard of them or her until last week. Curious. I know a movie is coming out later on. She says she had 'a dream' and wrote this story. Since dreams do come true, maybe the ones I have that center on Terrance Howard and Tom Hanks will come to pass.
The birds in my backyward await their evening feed and water. My cats ignore me, like I ignore my kitchen floor that craves attention of a mop--again. The DVR yearns to have its "PLAY" button tapped for today's trip to the Young and Restless's Genoa City. And my salad will satisfy with the BEST croutons in the world sprinkled on top: New York Texas Toast Croutons....yum!

Thursday aka Friday Eve...
Pretty much says it all, huh?
After I munch my salad, it'll be time for a cat to fight over my lap while I watch today's Young and the Restless episode. My questions: WHEN is somebody gonna say something about Victor's 'snip' job? And don't you just love Jack being all nasty again? Who cares about Chloe? I don't. Nor Lilly, nor Devon. Kinda feel for Amber, yet sick of her crying. Jill needs to just go on a vacation! Has Jill forget Brad was her pool boy? Oh, probably so, since we never knew Brad was a Navy Seal. Does JT have a job? Where's Michael's Dad? And can't Rex Sterling really be alive so Kay can have some added fun? Her living with Jill is such a downer. Also what about Nina and her son, Phillip--the boy Jill has called 'grandson' for so many years? Hmm. Stay tuned.
Anyway, after all that--and maybe a spot of ice cream-the minutes will tick until it finally IS Friday....
Does say it all.

Thoughts...
Did errands tonight. When did I fall in love with thrift stores? Not that long ago I called em 'junk stores.' For some they may be, yet I love the treasure search. Or maybe I know I need them more and more after the $45 filled my gas tank.
Croutons. The best...and I mean the BEST yum-yum croutons are New York Original Texas Toast Cheese and Garlic Croutons. Big (just like the state of Texas!) Crunchy and all around dee-lish-shus! For the calorie conscious two tablespoons will weigh you in with about 35 calories. These babies enhance any salad! Croutons....when did I get to the point in my life where I'd WANT to talk anything that went in or on a salad?
Thunder. Lightening too. Don't think the Dallas weather people predicted this! Hmm. One summer evening, while I was grade school age, I watched a softball game with my parents. We were at our town's park, along with half the town. Thunder started to roar. Lightening graced the sky. I announced to my parents that thunder was Heaven's door opening for the people. Lightening was to show them the way.
When did I ever stop believing that?
