Monday Done

Did some editing on a few documents for a co-worker tonight. Actually it was for the Eye Candy I work with. He goes, "You're the author."  Yea. OK.  Well, EC eventually gave me about four pages total. I asked him how much of an edit did he want?  I learned folks can get a little testy when they say do "Anything, you want"--and then you do anything and they get  upset because their masterpiece is ruined.  Sure, I know a run on a sentence can get the best of em.  Anyway, I told EC I needed a treat--this was around lunch time today. Bless his six foot five self, he brought be back a Dairy Queen Chocolate Blizzard. Kinda melted, yet still solid enough to savor the ice cream. After survey, I realized I could not sneak a few words here there while at work. So home is were I edited it more. 

**Yea. Took a couple hours I did not expect. The four pages, wound up being six, because of the seperation of the the pieces of the documents. Cats got bored as I typed away and I even wondered why am I not working my novel like this?

***** I digress.  I text'd EC when I emailed the documents to him. Haven't heard back, so I am sure we'll chat tomorrow.  

**Oh, and did tell him earlier, that little yummy Chocolate Blizzard ain't gonna be enough for what he wanted as the final product. Like I need me a couple 40 pound bags of cat litter....so stay tuned.

Another House

Yep. That's what I want. HA! And my chums just uttered as their mouths dropped: "You just bought that house less than a year ago!"

Well, yes-yes, I did. OK, I am not going out buy another house today, tomorrow next week or even next month. Even tho I drove past a house, in a neighborhood I liked as I savored a Banana Cream Pie Blizzard. See, I realize gotta sell this one first. Which might be a bit more difficult, with economy and all, but it has just one bathroom.

So as I watched HGTV today-and another chum just said, "Oh no, she's watching THAT again!" I digress. It was the show where folks fix up their place to sell it. With the selling couple, they also had one bathroom. The instruction was to make the bathroom the showplace. What's funny is, the bathroom's color was the color I wanted to paint mine. Alas, the HGTV Lady said, that was a big no. They needed something more soothing--which wound up being a color similar to the color I have now.

Honestly, I do love my little bungalow. It does provide my needs. Even have a sprinkler system. Don't know how it works, plus my water bill went sky high when I did use it. I digress. Got good neighbors. Street is quiet. Had no problems. So what's my deal? My bungalow doesn't have all I want--which first and foremost is a master bathroom. Sure, I could add one on. I've seen houses with add-ons in the neighborhood. You kinda know they're add-ons.

Anyway, it's a ponder. Not happening today. There would be alot of work involved and I'm not up to all that. So everybody take a deep breath. I've yet to really decorate this bungalow. So no real hurry to get another house. I am content with what the house provides--just being a little selfish because of the wants to enhance it all the more.

In the meantime--time to hit the couch, the remote and debate whether or not I'll try to burn another Duraflame log. The first and only time I've done it, nearly burnt the house down because I didn't have the chimney thingy open. I ain't feeling burning down the house to get another one.

I can wait.

It's The Weekend Again....

....so glad of that!

I had my first Snickers Blizzard, in I don't know how long. When did the small size become SO small? Still pretty tasty!

Tomorrow, another round of racquetball with Movie Man. By the way, he saw the new Batman movie: "Dark Knight" and loved it. Movie Man drinks, eats, and freezes anything about film. He thinks Oscar contention. WOW. With his 'thumbs up'---I'll go this weekend.

Next Saturday I host a Book Club. The book? Heck, I need to read it. I've only known about this since before Christmas. Living on the edge!

But ya know what....it's the Weekend---cue up the record player for this 70's anthem by Wet Willie!
