Food Network....

OK---I thought I was done with reality TV. After all, Dancing With The Stars and American Idol are done, even tho I still carry a torch for David Cook--I digress--then last night where did I find myself at 9pm? In front of the TV, for the first episode of The Next Food Network Star--I'm hooked. I don't think I'd even sample the food they're cookin-yet I do believe my favorite has the charisma for the camera: Aaron Cargo Jr. Bon appetite!

...and after the break....

David Archuleta--he did bring down the house. However, David Cook--his maturity. Just his sound. Even tho, I wasn't that familiar with two of the three songs, I felt he was great. He's a winner no matter what. David Archuleta....he's the younger sets' hearthrob. Back in my day, he'd be on Tiger Beat covers for months....oh wait....is Tiger Beat still around? :)

.....and now back to Dancing With the Stars!

1 More Hour--American Idol & Dancing With the Stars!

Just an hour until David Cook shows his chops. Why he should be the next (pause and cue Ryan Seacrest) American Idol. Had a good chat with some ladies and I readied to exit work. I just moved to that area and didn't know all their names--yet they new mine----hmmm...one lady said "Archuleta is so pure...." She wanted me to give him another chance tonight....naw, I said...David Cook. The voice. The look...yes, David Cook. So she asked, "Do you like Cook because of his talent or how he looks?'

Both. :)

Then Dancing With the Stars....Kristi should win. She is the BEST. However Cristian has come on since he busted his arm. Jason is so HOT--yet, I'm feeling some 'girl power'---give give Kristi that trophy to go with her Olympic medals!!

Am I ready? Oh am I! I should mop the floor, get my popcorn handy and just enjoy.

I've not been this excited about TV--since....well....I DVR'd Neil Diamond's The Jazz Singer...ok..may I should get out more! :)

And the American Idol Top Two will be....

David Cook better be one of them.

If some reason he gets booted off--UGH. Syesha needs to go. She's gorgeous--yet I never really 'felt' her---now, David Cook...yea, baby! Catch you in an hour or so---well, in between the end of American Idol and the start of Boston Legal...Denny Crane!

First Time I Ever Saw Your Face...DAVID COOK!

Is there anything this guy CAN'T sing? A cereal box, maybe? Grab me a box of corn flakes!

Roberta Flack has got to be smiling! Don't cha think the media has already contacted her to ask, "Ms. Flack, this song was written in 1957. You made it a classic in 1972. David Cook, a guy from the Missouri, the Show-Me State--brought it all the way home in 2008. Did he show YOU?"

Well, David Cook showed me! WOW---let him all my votes....Ruben's is the only American Idol 's CD I've purchased. David Cook's will be the second.

American Idol....Neil Diamond

OK--as much as I love David Cook--I wasn't too much into his song choice, yet he was the best. Jason Castro looks like a deer in the headlights--a cute one--yet a deer in the headlights just the same. The kids had trouble with Andrew Lloyd Webber and now Neil Diamond. Granted all that work, is older than they are--yet....Who gets booted? I think Jason is safe for one more week. Maybe Brooke or Syesha (I'm sure I spelled her name wrong) are gone.

Well, at least one of the cable stations, The Jazz Singer was on. So I can see and hear Neil sing "America" like it should be sung...

Thoughts of Past Loves

The Holidays are pretty much right here. Yep.  Especially since three Christmas movies, in the last three days, between Lifetime and Ha...
