Saturday Stuff

Feel good 'bout the postcards I sent out. They are arriving to their destinations, including England--at least one of them did. The comments have been positive. I like that a whole lot! Also plan to send postcards to friends across the country. Am I rid of all of them? Not quite--yet almost. I told you, I printed a ton of these suckers. :)

Met up with a chum today and chatted over coffee. I told of her my idea to make one cat sweatshirt/t-shirt well. Not a bunch just average. We brainstormed. Which proves once again I'm not as crafty as I think I am. The picture I see in my head changes about every minute. Sorta kinda know what I want to look like--not sure how I'll get it there. Pretty cool to think of it tho. Stay tuned.

Was a gorgeous day in Dallas. I even washed my car. What a difference a clean car makes...Rain was suppose to fall this afternoon. It didn't. After midnite now said. Perhaps some snow tomorrow in the afternoon. Uh-huh. That may mean none or a foot. Like this picture from February 2010:

Thursday Trek

It's 6:15 in the morning time as I write this and so wish I had some coffee. Alas, I'll need to get some on my way to work. The kicker is I do have my own coffee maker, yet there's something how my coffee doesn't quite turn out as good as when I buy it.

Right now the sun isn't up. Me neither really. I can't believe July is really bout over. The class I'm in now, is SO much better than my last one. This teacher calls me 'amazing' and said my paper was 'excellent.' My grade is an 'A" so far, with 2 more weeks left of this class. Plus I had my six month check up with my Heart Doc last week and she even said I was 'excellent'! Blood pressure was good. I still need to lose the weight I gained. Which comes down to exercise--more of it. Ick.

Found time to write fun fiction stuff. The dedication is already going to go to my classmates. It's their inspiration from our recent reunion. Stay tuned.

OK, have you seen the clips for this Fall's TV show, "Hawaii Five-O?" It may be good--yet, I kinda feel there's just something wrong with that.....

Ahh. It's Monday. As I write this, the oatmeal is cookin'. Yea, I fix oatmeal the old fashioned way--on the stove--and then I'm off to work I go. Did I mention it's 70 degrees out right now--before the sun is even up? Windy and muggy. Uck.

And the kitty's name is Edie. She kept me or better yet--my 7-11 coffee company! :)

On my blog, I receive visits from from folks everywhere. Makes me giddy. I admit, I'd like more comments left--just to wonder what folks think of my words. Hated. Liked. Laughed. Or Whatever. Saw visits from Beverly Hills, CA--and I wonder if they're from 90210 :)

Anyway, on with the day I go. Stuff to get done after work--so I can get ready for Dancing With the Stars (Kate has GOT to go home this week)! Then there's to watch Butler bring down Duke in the NCAA Men's Tourney.
