Just To Wrap Up

Yesterday the Dallas Cowboys' training facility collapsed. Today a house just two streets over from mine, exploded. One of the four folks that lived there, was home alone. He's now in the hospital with second degree burns. Then one of my very small back yard trees is falling over. The recent wind gusts have been too much for it. I wonder how old it is. If I had a saw I could saw it down myself--but my luck I'd saw off a limb. Say prayers for the Cowboys injured and the man in the hospital. Stay tuned.

Wonderful sermon today on how to wait on God preached by Pastor Rickie Rush at the Inspiring Body of Christ Church. So many tips were given, yet my favorites were: remain active, be patience and expectancy. Build your trust in God. Look at the folks in your life who love you. Do they drain you? Are you able to look beyond that? Also look at the decisions you tried to make--did they delay God's blessings? For me, man oh man, I didn't trust God and fell flat on my face--ALOT. I tried to make decisions and not let Him. No matter how long it takes, trust Him. It's His time, not yours. GREAT sermon.

Dallas Mavericks lost. Cats fed. Birds fed. Squirrels too. Got Blue Bell ice cream. Dreams to ponder. Things to do. Just to wrap up.
