So I'm a homeowner....
....and I paid for my first home maintenance....for the lawn to be mowed. I feel official now! And the kicker? I still sleep in my apartment, about 15 miles, cross town....I met a guy, at my house, to measure my floors, for a different kind of flooring. I want to do laminates--yet, I've learned it costs almost more to install than the actual material. I've heard from the floor guy today and a Home Depot guy, "You can DO it yourself." If I want it--I may have to. Has anybody done this? Anyway, another guy was there. Turns out, he mowed my neighbor's lawn. He could do mine--right then. I'd planned for a 12 year old to do it Saturday--yet, the grass was getting high, the bushes needed a trim--and this was this guy's business. So he just zipped and it all ready looked good. I think he tried to flirt with me-or just wanted to make sure I paid him. So now---I have a neat lawn. Can't wait to move in, so I can enjoy it! Strawberry lemonade anyone....?
