Strawberries
A true sign of Spring....strawberries. Bought a pint of Driscoll berries. Nice, plump seductive shade of red. I sliced some to waltz with my chocolate covered strawberry ice cream (yes, there is such a flavor! :) A bit disappointed, because the berries weren't as sweet as I anticipated---yet it made me look forward to the days when the strawberries will be at the apex. And I tell ya, I'll be on my porch, berries in hand, gazing atthe flowers in my back yard, laughing as I watch my cats watch the birds. Life is good.
