I Painted....

I painted. Yea.

A space in my hallway that separates two of the bedrooms.

To the ceiling and about four foot wide or so. Yea, I painted.

I went to Sherwin-Williams for a paint sample. I figured that amount would be just right. It was--still have some left over. The color: "Fireworks." A reddish tone. It wound up being a bit more orange than I thought. Anyway, some stuff got painted that shouldn't. No....no cats were injured while the paint colored the wall-- :) Even tho this was a wall--I can see why I received "D's" in junior high art class. We'll see how it dries. The wall may dry darker, then I might consider using more of it in the hallway. I already have a mirror I want to put there. Not sure the mirror's color will match...we'll see. If not, I can always paint it.

Paint cures everything.

All in all, I'm proud of myself. My first paint job. Now we'll have to see if there's any more!

It's not bad--I mean, my first time out. But like I said, some stuff, like door frames got painted that weren't meant to. Yes, I used painters tape. Of course, there's a couple dots on the ceiling.

Thank goodness, ice cream is in the freezer.
