American Idol touches "Grey's Anatomy". I didn't realize Jordin Sparks would be guesting. I also didn't know she could act. Always felt she could sing.
Now, if you will excuse me, "Grey's" is the last 'new' show for this TV season. After that, back to reality of doing whatever I did before Dancing With the Stars, American Idol and Thursday night's TV line up required me to DVR stuff....oh yea....my dreams and passions of writing, reading and baking some pies....

The price of gas...

Last night, on my way to pick-up my Sesame Chicken, I made a detour. I had to--HAD to- get gas--otherwise I might not make it to the Chinese Restaurant to get my Sesame Chicken. And my tummy was hungry. I stopped at the gas station. Pretty much had a stroke as I gazed at the $3.39 price per gallon. I needed the gas. What was I to do? I'm blessed because my commute mileage has been cut in half, due to my move--that's a GOOD thing. Yet the price--oh my. I wish I could walk to work. Hmm...I could, yet it would be tomorrow when I got there.
When I received my driver's license at the now, seemingly tender age of 16, the cost of gas was about 46 cents! Once I carried in 200 pennies to buy almost five gallons of fuel. Or in later times--20 bucks would fill the tank. Now--I' m lucky to get three gallons for ten dollars.
I should look more into public transportation. I need to look more into having own home business. For instance, to bake my pies, sell my writing and greeting cards...it's all possible. In God, all things are possible.
Gas over three dollars a gallon makes one think outside of the box--and I AM thinking!
