So = Sew

Sorta kinda did some. Well, I helped and got educated on the art of 21st century embroidery. A chum helped me with t-shirts for a writers' conference I'm volunteering on Saturday. Realized I am so stuck in the 1970's on technology.

Had no idea embroidery can be done by a machine. A sewing machine that also embroiders. There's a screen ON the machine. Then you choose from the fonts, patterns, stitches before you. Punch it in. Hit the 'on' button --no foot pedal to push-and off you go. Oh, did I mention, the machine even threads the needle?

I just recall being in 7th grade Home Ec and we did embroidering. By hand. We had our PE navy blue one piece outfits to embroidery something on one of the legs. I did a Peace sign. Which I did indeed get an "A" for.

"A" for a sign Peace?

Still sounds good in 2009 as it did in 1970.
