Saw Tyler Perry’s new movie, “The Family That Preys” this morning. Enjoyed it, yet I think less could be more on the amount of characters involved. What happens is, I want to see MORE of those characters’ stories! Nonetheless, I gotta give Tyler kudos. Again the Hollywood Powers will watch all that money pile up –again—wishing it was theirs-again! They will ponder how Tyler landed two award winning A-List actors: Alfre Woodard and Kathy Bates. How much more cred does Tyler need? He’s an inspiration to me—the story Tyler went through to get where he is today. My oh my. The message of The Family That Preys,” in my opinion, makes up for any short comings. And Tyler, your movie makes me hope to dance.
