Stuff You Gotta Do, But....

..you really hate--like dishes. Washing them. You inspect your sinkful of dishes. Is that a scream you hear? A scream to be drenched in cleanliness? Hmm. You're more surprised a patch of weeds haven't sprouted from the sink. Wish for a dishwasher, yet your chum Selene says that's water you really don't want to heap money out for.

Whatever.

You realize even if you had a dishwasher, the dishes would remain in the washer as you use em up. It's only you and a herd of cats, so how can there be so many dirty dishes? Good question. It's like how you want a bigger house, yet you can't this small one spotless. Oh well.

You're new plan of attack is to wash your dish right after you use it. The the pile won't grow, nor the threat of some non-desirable plant life in your sink. Sounds like a good plan. At least for today.

Stay tuned.

Clean House...

I ain't got one. Not as I would like.

It's just me and cats. So I asked the chum who helped me with my flooring, and who's hubby waits for me to give him the go ahead to smash in my wall so my window can go in-how DOES she keep her house clean??? Plus her hubby, there's two little boys, plus dogs. She gave me great advice-- 'zones.' She works on her 'zones' everyday.

That may work for me. Break my house done, into each 'zone'--outside of the stuff I do everyday--litter box duty, kitchen stuff etc. Make a menu for each one. So I won't be so overwhelmed! I mean, I actually wanted a BIGGER house!

Yep--it may just work. Heaven knows, that steam cleaner I bought for my birthday, makes a fine, darn accessory......my carpet is a whole 'zone.' That other room with laminate may be calling me, afterall.

Now, I need to zip on out to the kitchen, so I can 'zone' up to some popcorn!

Zones.....yep, they may just work!
