I don't get it.
Told my chum how I picture her being in the 1800's with the butter churn near by. She'd be quilting up a blanket as her young'un's rounded up cows to milk--for the butter churn. After we laughed, Another Aries explained how a machine does a majority of the work, and it's all about strips of fabric. Another Aries went on to explain the projects she's working on and plans to work on. How she wouldn't mind quilting up some mats and blankees for cats. Now, THAT perked me up. My cats always need a new item. Alas-
I still don't get the quilt thing. Memories of not so good 7th grade Home Ec grades floated back to me over my pasta lunch. Unleashing my creativity ain't about to happen in quilting either. Although, Another Aries and I spoke of being entrepreneurs. Her with her quilt wares and me with mine--which of course, is everything feline.
But ya know, it doesn't matter if I don't get quilting or not. Another Aries does. Even started a blog about her love for quilting along with other blog about life as a Proud Tejana. I suggested she post more stuff on her quilt blog since there are others who share the same passion (unlike me).
So to wrap this all up, I decided that every now and then, I'll just ask Another Aries if my cats' quilt blankee is done! They'll love it and so will I! :)
Oh, and I didn't down ALL my 74 ounces of water down today...almost...but not all...

oh very good!!!! :) -- spouse yelled at me when i got home about all the money i'd spent for car repair - blew the wind out of my sails - so my post ended up being very short. But tomorrow is another day -- enjoyed our gab fest today - Another Aries :)
Well, spouse either should fixed the car himself or sent you to mechanic school...! The wind in your sails will come back..!
I don't really get the quilting thing either, but here I am-- making yet another one for our soon-to-be daughter. It is a custom in some Chinese Provinces to make a 100-wish quilt for a new baby. I made one for my first daughter adopted from China so of course I am making another one for our second daughter.
Your blog is lovely! Thank you for the nice post on my blog-- over the moon to home.
Best,
Reena
